Säben Monastery via the Way of the Cross
The old Way of the Cross, lined with chapels, leads up to Säben Monastery, the landmark above Klausen. At the top, you can enjoy sweeping views across the Eisacktal. The path is easy to walk and can be reached from the Krone in just under half an hour.

Hiking in the Dolomites
From the front door straight into the mountains: Gröden, Villnöss and the via ferratas of the Dolomites lie ahead of you. From gentle alpine pasture trails to high-alpine tours, there is something for everyone, and by bus and train you'll be at the trailhead in no time.
Autumn
Keschtnweg & Törggelen
Chestnuts, young wine and golden forests: the Keschtnweg links the farm taverns of the Eisacktal. During Törggelen, you stop off to taste the new wine and roasted chestnuts. This is what autumn tastes like in South Tyrol.
Winter
Cross-Country Skiing & Ski Touring
Cross-country trails on the Villanderer Alm, ski tours and toboggan runs: winter starts right next door. You can reach the major ski areas of Gröden and Plose in no time, without a long drive.
